Concept, design and programming of a game involving the player’s whole body for the DASA work exhibition in Dortmund.

The exhibit gives insights into how today’s technology is already able to track the human body. Measuring posture and movements for example can be helpful to ergonomically optimize work environments.
The game technology is based on the Microsoft Kinect 3D sensor, showing real time information of the user being tracked. Certain joints, changing in every level and appearing as measure marks, are being used to create a shape. Through different poses, the visitor can change its form and size. As the shape has dropped to the virtual back wall the user gets challenged to jump through its inverted successor.
